The Borough of Lavallette is working with Morgan Engineering and Ben Shaffer Recreation in applying to the NJ Green Acres Program for Jake’s Law Playground Funding for a new inclusive playground at Chandler Park on 2001 Baltimore Avenue. This unique funding source is in it’s last year of this exceptional program available to NJ municipalities.

NJAM plans to start installing water main on Westmont, Haddonfield and Bryn Mawr Ave, then come back to replace all the water service.

Use caution on the roadway, all of the lights that are turned off for the winter months have returned to normal function on Route 35 North and Route 35 South. Speed Limits will be lowered soon as well, use caution and pay attention for the upcoming speed limit change.

Recreation Badges

The 2024 Lavallette Recreation Badges are on sale at the pre-season price of
$60 for the season until May 17th then it will go to $65 in season.
Seniors 65 and older $20 with no change.
Service Members can acquire a badge with a Military ID at no charge.
All sales for recreation are cash or check only.

Daily wristbands are available from the attendant at the courts during the season.

The badges are required for use of the tennis and pickle ball courts, they are not needed for any other activities in the recreation area.

January Water / Sewer & Electric Bills mailed to 08735 appear to have been lost in the mail.

After a higher than normal amount of phone calls from residents regarding not receiving their utility bills, we have reason to believe that bills mailed to Lavallette on January 4th have been lost in the mail.

This appears to have affected both the electric bills and the water / sewer bills mailed to the Lavallette zip code. The post office is looking into this matter, as of now we are planning on reprinting the water/sewer bills mailed to 08735 and adding the current electric bill to the next electric bill.

Both bills will have an extension before they are considered late. The extension would make the current electric past due after March 4th and the water/sewer after March 6th.

AutoPay for both will occur on the original due dates of February 1^st for electric and February 6^th for water / sewer as the majority of the AutoPay users also get E-Bills and will be expecting the withdraw.

Account balances can be checked using our Account Inquiry and you can also reprint your bill. Homeowners within the 08735 zip code can expect to receive a replacement water/sewer bill unless you have already paid the bill.
E-Bills are also available for both utilities.

Seniors 65 and older $20 with no change. Service Members can acquire a badge with a Military ID at no charge. All sales for recreation are cash or check only. Daily wristbands are available from the attendant at the courts during the season. Finance Borough of Lavallette 2023 Annual Debt Statement Posted 1/30/23 Finance		January Water / Sewer & Electric Bills mailed to 08735 appear to have been lost in the mail. After a higher than normal amount of phone calls from residents regarding not receiving their utility bills, we have reason to believe that bills mailed to Lavallette on January 4th have been lost in the mail. This appears to have affected both the electric bills and the water / sewer bills mailed to the Lavallette zip code. The post office is looking into this matter, as of now we are planning on reprinting the water/sewer bills mailed to 08735 and adding the current electric bill to the next electric bill. Both bills will have an extension before they are considered late. The extension would make the current electric past due after March 4th and the water/sewer after March 6th. AutoPay for both will occur on the original due dates of February 1^st for electric and February 6^th for water / sewer as the majority of the AutoPay users also get E-Bills and will be expecting the withdraw. Account balances can be checked using our Account Inquiry and you can also reprint your bill. Homeowners within the 08735 zip code can expect to receive a replacement water/sewer bill unless you have already paid the bill. E-Bills are also available for both utilities.
