Parking
On street parking is on a first come first served basis on the side streets and the ocean blocks. The Borough of Lavallette has residential parking permits in certain areas throughout town these spots are designated by sign and by permit only.
Along the highway there are sections of time limited parking, between fifteen minutes and two hours. Please keep this in mind when parking along the highway.
Handicap Accessible spots available all throughout
the town and at the oceanfront on several streets, the most being on
the wide streets of Trenton, New York, Philadelphia, & President
Avenues.

“NO PARKING” as designated from the end of the streets on the ocean front; this area is reserved for emergency vehicles.
Bay Front Parking Stickers
A
sticker is required on motor vehicles parked in any of the Municipal
parking lots on the bay front In effect during the bathing season as
established in
§7-9B
of the Borough of Lavallette Code. Car Stickers must be
permanently affixed to the driver’s side rear window.

Residential Parking Permit
The owner of any residential property located within the Residence Districts A, B, and C as defined in Chapter 90 of the Code of the Borough of Lavallette may apply for a residential parking permit for a dedicated parking space which is located in whole or in part ("in part" meaning more than 50%) in proximity to that subject residential property under the following conditions:
The subject residential property has no off-street parking under the terms of its original construction permit, or by virtue of any approved site plan; and the lot is undersized as defined by width of the subject residential property's front yard, defined in § 90-5 of the Code of the Borough of Lavallette, is less than the minimum requirement for the frontage as defined in § 20-1 of the Code of the Borough of Lavallette.
Applications are available by request from the Borough Clerk as many properties do not qualify for parking permits.
