The Lavallette Beach Patrol Summer Jr Guards Program. This program is designed to instruct community youth in beach and ocean safety and to improve swimming skills.

 

Junior Lifeguards

In this program our older guards will teach the importance of water safety, lifeguard techniques, and team collaboration. Jr. Guards will focus on practicing essential lifeguarding skills such as swimming, paddling and running. They will also participate in fun, team collaborative games and events similar to the ones in lifeguard tournaments. This program is perfect for those who are interested in learning more about lifeguarding, water safety and our beach patrol!

Ages 10-15 with good swimming ability. Swimmers must be able to swim 100 yards non-stop.

● Ages 10-12 Tuesdays and Thursdays
● Ages 13-15 Monday, Wednesday, Friday
● Dates: Starts July 8, 20024
● 10:00am-11:30am
● Philadelphia Avenue at the Ocean.

 

NOTE: Medical Release must be submitted prior to the start of the above activities, Mail or Drop off to the Beach Badge office. To download use the button for the Medical release.
