FULL-TIME ELECTRIC LINEMAN – LAVALLETTE BOROUGH, OCEAN COUNTY

The Borough of Lavallette is seeking a licensed Electric Lineman in our Public Works Department.  Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to, installation, construction, inspection, repair, servicing and maintenance of the Borough’s Electric Utility Distribution System.  Must be qualified to work safely on energized lines and equipment. A minimum of 3 years’ experience is preferred.  Salary is negotiable depending on the experience. Applicant must possess a valid NJ Driver’s License as well as a CDL License.  Position requires mandatory drug screening once hired as well as various times of year during the term of employment without notice. Badge Checkers

We are now accepting applications for Badge Checkers for our 2021 Beach Season. Please fill out an application, the Badge Check supervisor will begin making calls to prospective employees in May.

Applicants must be 16 or older.

Clean Communities

Clean communities workers will be responsible for sweeping the boardwalk, picking up litter and similar work at the direction of the Department of Public Works. Workers under 18 are eligible to apply for these positions.

 

Seasonal Garbage and Recycling Collection

Workers will be responsible for collecting garbage and recycling, installing snow fencing and similar manual labor at the direction of the Superintendent of the Department of Public Works. Workers under 18 are not eligible to apply for these positions.
